Legion of Mary Regia Charts Course for Legion House and Renews Call to Visit the Domus Clero
The Regia of the Diocesan Legion of Mary met today, Saturday, 11th July 2026, bringing together legionaries from across the presidia for a session marked by both forward planning and a renewed call to active apostolic service. Two matters dominated the deliberations: progress towards the long-awaited Legion House, and the ongoing work of visitation at the Domus Clero.
Legion House: Fundraising to Begin in September

Addressing the meeting, the Spiritual Director announced that the long-standing project of the Legion House is set to move forward with concrete steps in the coming months. Beginning in September, all legionaries across the diocese will be mobilised for a fundraising drive dedicated to the project. He expressed confidence that, by the grace of God, actual work on the building site will commence in October, marking a significant milestone for the Legion in the diocese. Members were encouraged to embrace the fundraising effort with the same missionary zeal that characterises their apostolic work, seeing it as a concrete contribution to the Legion’s lasting presence in the diocese.
Renewed Commitment to Visitation at the Domus Clero
The Spiritual Director also turned attention to the visitation apostolate at the Domus Clero, encouraging every presidium in the diocese to take up this work with dedication. He reminded members that such visitation is, in a special way, the work of legionaries, reflecting the Legion’s charism of active, hands-on charity rather than mere goodwill from a distance. To track progress and encourage accountability, he took note of the presidia that have so far honoured this call by visiting the Domus Clero, and urged those yet to do so to make it a priority in the weeks ahead.
The Regia closed with legionaries reaffirming their readiness to answer both calls, standing firmly behind the vision for the Legion House while continuing, presidium by presidium, the quiet but vital work of visitation, true to their promise of service under the standard of Mary.
