Board for the Use of Media in Evangelization
The Board for the Use of Media in Evangelization in the Catholic Diocese of Orlu exists to strengthen, coordinate, and guide the Diocese’s communication mission in the service of the Gospel. Rooted in Christ’s command to “go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel” (Mark 16:15), the Board helps the Diocese use traditional, digital, and emerging media such as AI and digital media as instruments of evangelization, catechesis, pastoral communication, and public witness. It supports a unified, professional, and coherent media presence through the Diocesan Radio Station, The Forum Newspaper, N-Trinity Press, diocesan websites, digital platforms, information technology, social media, and other content-creation initiatives under diocesan authority.
Chaired by Most Rev. T. I. Obiatuegwu, Auxiliary Bishop, the Board brings together pastoral leaders and communication collaborators to provide oversight, strategic direction, policy guidance, accountability, and administrative support for diocesan media institutions.
