CMO
Catholic Men Organization
The Catholic Men Organization (CMO) in the Diocese of Orlu is a fellowship of Catholic men committed to living and witnessing the Gospel through faith, family leadership, service, integrity, and active participation in the mission of the Church. Rooted in the biblical call, “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15), CMO encourages men to be responsible Christian leaders in their homes, parishes, workplaces, and society. In the spirit of the Church’s teaching on the lay apostolate, especially Apostolicam Actuositatem and Christifideles Laici, Catholic men share in the Church’s mission by strengthening family life, supporting evangelization, promoting moral responsibility, serving the poor and vulnerable, and helping build vibrant parish communities.
Their role is vital because the growth of the Church depends not only on clergy and religious, but also on mature, faithful, and active lay people who bring Christ into daily life. For this reason, the Diocese of Orlu takes the Catholic Men Organization seriously as a necessary partner in forming Christian families, strengthening parish life, and advancing the mission of the Church in the local community.
