Marriage and Family Life
Marriage and Family Life in the Diocese of Orlu supports couples, parents, children, and families in living their vocation as a domestic Church. Rooted in God’s plan that “a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24), and in Christ’s teaching on the sacredness of marriage (Matthew 19:4–6), this ministry promotes faithful love, responsible parenthood, family prayer, reconciliation, and the Christian formation of children. In the spirit of the Church’s teaching in Gaudium et Spes, Familiaris Consortio, and Amoris Laetitia, the Diocese accompanies families as places of faith, love, life, forgiveness, and service. Because the family is the first school of Christian life and the foundation of society, the Diocese of Orlu takes marriage and family ministry as central to evangelization and the growth of the Church.
