Child & Youth Protection
Child Protection and Safe Environment
The Catholic Diocese of Orlu is committed to the protection of children, minors, and vulnerable persons. The Diocese maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child abuse, sexual abuse, exploitation, neglect, or any conduct that violates the dignity and safety of minors.
In fidelity to the Gospel, the discipline of the Church, and applicable civil law, every allegation or concern involving the abuse of a minor must be treated with seriousness, urgency, confidentiality, and pastoral care. Anyone who has knowledge of, has experienced, or has reasonable concern about the abuse of a child or minor is encouraged to report the matter immediately to the appropriate civil authorities and to contact the Diocesan Committee for Child Protection.
