On this day, the Diocese of Orlu prays for God's mercy and forgiveness and that of all mankind, God's intervention in the present political and socio-economic situation of the country, and restoration of peace in Orlu, especially those threatened by insecurity. She equally prays for God's continued protection and guidance on the Mother Church, her bishop, clergy, religious and laity.
The prayer starts at 9:00am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Grotto at the Retreat/Pastoral Centre with rosary procession to the Cathedral pavilion. This will be followed by reparation prayers, confessions, spiritual talks, and the Holy Mass to be presided over by the bishop
